1.) Run Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware Software, booting & scanning from a special CD ROM Disk that does not run on Windows
Often Malware, Computer Viruses & Worms can hide themselves within the Windows Operating system itself and from Anti-Virus software that runs on Windows. Using it's own special boot system, this software does a deep scan of your computer for hidden viruses and malware that can remain undetected by software that uses the Windows operating system.
2.) Run a Rootkit Scan on your PC
By manipulating the operating system at a very low level, these malware programs can install PC keyloggers and backdoor programs surreptitiously on your PC. Then their authors are able to spy on your activities and control your system remotely. This special class of Malware requires a very specialized tool to discover the infection.
3.) Install free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on your system & run it as a double check
Considered as one of the best free Anti-Malware programs at catching those really sneaky programs. This is NOT Anti-Virus protection software, it is designed to supplement a good anti-virus program. It does NOT auto update in the free version, so not a program to rely on for real-time protection.

A properly defragmented disk runs faster and performs better than a fragmented one. A disk should be defragmented whenever it is more than 10% fragmented. (Defragmentation can sometimes take over two to three hours, so defragmentation is not an included service, but if the scan shows defragmentation is required, detailed instructions will be provided so you can easily do it yourself).
